    Lewis Farms Fire Station No. 29

    Brand new Fire Station at 9204 - 213 Street, NW in the City. This project now houses sleeping quarters for the fire fighters, a gym facility, and large concrete patio area with landscaping in the back yard. The large apparatus bay and truck bay also make up this impressive building. This facility is important as it is also home to a dispatch center. The architectural features include large glulam beams, metal cladding, and decorative concrete panels on the exterior including full paving and landscaping. The building achieved a LEED SILVER standard.

    Winners Plaza 82

    Pemco teamed up with Delcon to construct the new Winners on Whyte at the old Chapters building. The project was nearly 20,000 square feet including architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical work. Some features included a new loading dock and receiving area, new feature staircase to the second floor with glass railing, installation of Winners millwork and slat wall systems, major floor levelling and flooring, cart corals, and finishes to meet TJX standards. This is an iconic building on Whyte Avenue and we were proud to be a part of this project!

    Public Service Pension Plan

    Pemco partnered with Melcor and Planworks Architecture to buildout the new offices for PSPP. The space included offices, staff room, boardroom, and all associated architectural, mechanical, and electrical work in the Southside of Edmonton in Blackmud. The space was a vacant commercial space on the main floor and some landlords work was included in the project as well.

    Alexis First Nation Health Services Covid 19 Security Protection

    Stony Plain COOP Pharmacy

    Upon completing the Food Store renovation at the Stony Plain location, Pemco was invited back to complete the brand new COOP Pharmacy within the food store building. The project included a new feature entrance to the pharmacy, and complete demolition of existing finishes on the interior. The project involved a complete build out of the new pharmacy including Architectural, Mechanical, and Electrical work. We were very happy to team up with AODBT and COOP again to complete this project!

    Canadian Western Bank Place 18th Floor Landlord Upgrades

    Pemco completed the landlords work on the 18th floor of Canadian Western Bank Place for Bentall GreenOak which included upgrades to the elevator lobby, corridors, and common washrooms.

    KMSC Law LLP Tenant Improvement (Offices Section)

    Pemco completed the build out of the KMSC Law office in Edmonton on the 18th floor of Canadian Western Bank Place. It included all work associated with the law firm, and a new show suite for Bentall Green Oak. Pemco was invited back to complete some alterations to the suite as required by KMSC to accommodate their staff.

    Tim Hortons Drayton Valley Repairs from Vehicle Damage

    Pemco completed the repair of the Drayton Valley Tim Hortons after it was impacted by a vehicle. This was the second time this happened and bollards were installed to ensure it does not happen again. Work involved wood framing, tiling, bollards/concrete, and associated work to match the previous aesthetics. Pemco completes car damage repairs each year for various landlords.

    Sunlife Place 16th Floor Elevator Lobby and Corridors Landlords Work

    Pemco completed the landlords work on the 16th floor of Sunlife Place for Sun Life Assurance Company of Canada which included upgrades to the elevator lobby and corridors. The work included some millwork, glazing, new finishes including vinyl, stainless steel and some mechanical improvements.

    Belgravia Community Centre

    Complete interior renovation and addition to structure, interior and exterior modernization.

    Scotiabank Beaumont

    Construction of a new bank building including: site work, utilities, structural, architectural, electrical, and mechanical scopes of work were completed. Tenant improvements for the new Scotiabank branch were also included in the contract.

    Galloway Station Museum

    The Galloway Station Museum is a major addition (10,000 sq. ft.) to an existing museum park in Edson, Alberta. The architectural design of the building is very intricate and unique. It boasts many elevation changes throughout its structure.

    Scotiabank Windermere

    Construction of a new building, site work and tenant improvements for a new Scotiabank branch. High quality work with attention to detail, electrical, data and controls.

    Kennedale Substation

    Pemco constructed a new addition to an existing substation to match the exterior appearance as closely as possible, all work took place within the switch yard and included civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, and electrical work. The new addition has a main floor and basement level to house Epcor equipment. Work was completed with safety as the utmost importance. Pemco has a working relationship with Epcor of over 15 years.

    City of Edmonton – Callingwood Pavillion

    New west Edmonton park pavilion in the Callingwood neighborhood. Built from the ground up, the pavilion serves as a public change room, including washroom facilities for the nearby skateboard and spray parks. Key features of the building include the rolling doors and graffiti proof colored thermal paneling on the exterior.

    Sunlife Head Offices, Edmonton (16th Floor Sunlife Place)

    Pemco completed the construction of Sunlife Financial head office in Edmonton – the project involved the complete buildout of the entire 16th floor at Sunlife Place from an empty vacant shell space. The project included all architectural, mechanical, and electrical work. The project also included landlords work which consisted of the full elevator lobby and corridors, as well as a show suite for future use. Sunlife had many interesting features including special branding, murals of the City, and sound masking. There were privacy rooms and other interesting components of the work including breakout rooms, collaboration rooms, and a great staff kitchen! We were proud to work with Bentall GreenOak and Sunlife on this exciting tenant improvement!

    SirKit Tenant Improvement

    Pemco teamed up with Rohit Group and Wolski Design to build out a brand new office space for SirKit, an exciting and innovative IT company in Edmonton. The project featured Dirtt wall systems, architectural features, mechanical, and electrical work. The lighting package and flooring choices made this project stand out. The staff room and kitchen included booth seating for employees.

    SGI Insurance Tenant Improvement

    Pemco completed a large-scale (13K Sq. Ft ) interior renovation on a second floor empty space under a construction management contract. It included both tenant and landlord work addressing architectural, mechanical and electrical scopes for a new insurance office

    Alberta College of Paramedics

    Pemco was excited to team up with Wolski Design, Rohit Group of Companies, and the Alberta College of Paramedics to complete the entire second floor buildout on 91 Street SW in Edmonton. The project boasted beautiful finishes and intricate design including solid surfaces, glass office fronts, boardrooms with operable wall separations, and staff area. There were a lot of solid core wood doors, glazing, and millwork throughout the space.

    RiskTech Insurance

    RiskTech Insurance – this group relocated from downtown and took over the entire top floor at the Treasures Insurance Building. The high open ceilings and exposed ductwork is a unique feature, along with the RGO wall system in the center of the space. A new reception area was created to accept Clients visiting both RiskTech and Treasures Insurance; all architectural, mechanical, and electrical work was completed. Pemco demolished the space prior to construction

    Treasures Insurance Relocation

    Treasures Insurance Relocation – relocated Treasures space within their building to make way for a partner company. Involved Architectural, mechanical, and electrical work. Project modernized the space and involved specialty surface mounted lighting due to the wood paneled roofing system which is exposed in the space. Very unique features! Worked with Wolski Design on this project

    Brosseau & Associates Law Tenant Improvement

    This project saw Pemco team up with a local law firm, and was the second project completed for this Client. Pemco completed their original buildout in Edmonton 23 years earlier, and teamed up again to relocate the offices to First Edmonton Place. The project featured special finishes such as vinyl wallcoverings, and a millwork package consisting of a new reception desk and wainscoting in the reception area. Ceramic tiles and LED lighting were also introduced to the space. This project maintained the classic look and feel that the law firm desired to maintain from their previous location and was sole sourced to Pemco to complete the work in a short timeline.

    PearsonVue Interior Renovation

    Pemco teamed up with Avison Young, Qualico Commercial, and PearsonVue to build out the first Canadian expansion project for PearsonVue. This is a secure testing facility and security and noise reduction and soundproofing were the most important elements to this unique buildout. The space was constructed on the third floor of a new commercial building in Edmonton and included all architectural, mechanical, and electrical scopes of work.

    Heart and Stroke Foundation Interior Renovation

    Great interior improvements including architectural, mechanical and electrical scopes done on time and in budget. Very few changes and Pemco had full control to make decisions to meet the budget we provided and ensure timely action throughout the project to meet the clients drop dead timeline for move in.

    River Valley Beverage New Offices

    River Valley Beverage new interior office space with open structure ceiling for new offices and boardroom with sliding doors, complete kitchen area, washrooms and mechanical room.

    West Edmonton Hyundai

    Large addition and complete renovation to existing car dealership. Entire project done in phases to allow owner uninterrupted everyday business operations.

    Epcor Tower 15th Floor Landlords Work (Landlords Work)

    Pemco teamed up with Qualico Commercial to complete the elevator lobby, corridors, storage area, and several demising walls with associated electrical and mechanical work. This was in preparation for future tenants on the vacant 15th floor of Epcor tower in Edmonton, AB. The finishes boasted carpet and ceramic wall tiles, walls with vinyl wall coverings to match the base building, and new ceiling grids with lighting and HVAC.

    Glenora Pediatric Clinic

    Pemco contracted with Red Frog Interior Design, Dr. El-Kalla, and Dr. Lo to complete the entire interior tenant improvement on the 2nd floor of the new West Block Building. The space was a new vacant commercial suite. The space included colorful exam rooms with animal logos on every door, washroom, staff area, offices, reception/waiting, and kids play area. The space is very inviting for children boasting bright colors, graphics, hand painted murals, colorful millwork and flooring, and provides a safe and comfortable space for everyone who walks in! It was a pleasure to work with the entire team from budgets to completion!

    Edmonton Valley Zoo Amphitheater

    Pemco teamed up with the City of Edmonton to construct a new outdoor amphitheater. The project involved civil work, decorative concrete slabs and sidewalks, and a beautiful wooden amphitheatre structure to blend into the natural surroundings of the Edmonton Valley Zoo. The project also included all landscaping for the work area and mechanical and electrical work to service the site. The project included high end carpentry work for the intricate wood slats.

    AHS Wetaskiwin Mall Home Care

    Pemco teamed up with AHS to complete the entire buildout of the new Home Care Service facility inside the Wetaskiwin Mall. A demolition of the previous tenant was included in our contract and included all Architectural, Mechanical, and Electrical work to meet healthcare standards.

    Scotiabank Heritage Village TI

    Pemco was pleased to complete phased renovation of the interior and exterior while the bank remained open. Architectural, mechanical and electrical work including many upgrades to high end millwork, and other finishes.

    COOP Liquor Store Rimbey AB

    Complete demolition of previous liquor store and rebuild of new COOP liquor store to meet branding criteria including retail area, warehouse, washrooms, office, and walk in coolers

    The King’s University – Student Enrichment Centre

    Pemco completed an interior renovation to create a new Student Enrichment Centre at the Kings University. The goal was to create a holistic area for students to meet together, study, and collaborate. The are wood slat features in the hallway, separate meeting rooms with glass entries, and collaboration seating with acoustic felt. The washrooms were completely renovated at the same time. The project boasted lighting upgrades and exciting finishes. This modern space is an exciting addition to the campus! Pemco completed library renovations at Kings in 2013 and was proud to collaborate with the University again in 2019.

    Vandenberg Jewellers

    Pemco was pleased to work again with Ralph on a Construction Management basis, and completed the landlords work for Manulife Real Estate. Architectural, mechanical and electrical work, we also coordinated a few owner trades and managed the entire project closely with Ralph. It was a relocation of his existing space within Manulife to a bigger space in the same building. Epoxy flooring, lighting, and many high end features including brick walls throughout the space.

    Grand Trunk Arena Rehabilitation

    Rehabilitation of the arena was being done to upgrade the ice plant and upgrade elements of the facility that had reached or exceeded their lifecycle. Architectural, mechanical and electrical building upgrades required for this project. This project included construction of a new ice plant facility and updating of the arena portion of the facility along with it's exterior concrete finishing, parking lot; and surrounding landscaping.

    Acupuncture Turning Point

    Pemco collaborated with Gord Grant of the Acupuncture Turning Point to complete his new tenant improvement at the United Health Center on 109 Street, Edmonton. This second floor location included architectural, mechanical, and electrical scopes of work. Pemco worked very closely with Gord throughout the project to ensure his dream was realized! The clinic has a unique feel unlike any other clinic. The mechanical requirements required ducted returns to meet medical standards and plugs were hospital grade. The project included laundry, washrooms, staff area, reception and waiting area, and patient rooms.

    Epcor HJBSC Roof Top Decking

    Pemco teamed up with Epcor Utilities Inc to construct and install steel grating, stairs, and handrails around their existing mechanical equipment on the roof of the Epcor HJB North Service Center. Several large structural beams were also required to supplement the steel beams already installed on site, and crane services were utilized to lift the materials onto the roof. The steel was galvanized to ensure a long lasting finish which is exposed to the elements. The steel contractor completed site measurements and detailed drawings for approval by the structural Engineer. The purpose of the project was to ensure that the equipment can be serviced and maintained safely.

    Edmonton Eyelid Center Renovation

    Pemco collaborated directly with Dr. Audrey Chan and Red Frog Interior Design to refresh the existing Edmonton Eyelids space in First Edmonton Place. The space was 5500 square feet and completed in phases to ensure the operations could continue as usual. The scope included the addition of several offices/exam areas, a new reception area, painting throughout including large existing doors, flooring replacement, millwork cabinetry, new clean area, and relamping of the base building fixtures. There were nice features added in the waiting rooms including a mantel and fireplace, and the millwork reception desk features a glass separating wall and stainless steel reveals. Pemco completed the space originally, and has completed three notable renovations through the decades including this latest modern rendition! We thank the team on a great project!

    The Growlery Beer Company

    Pemco teamed up with the newest microbrewery in Edmonton to buildout the complete tap room and brewery. The brewery was designed with an industrial finish, and the project was predominantly a mechanical and electrical project due to the brewing equipment. The cooler box and architectural features made this an exciting project! They even crafted a beer named after our late Co-Founder, Josef Lapes.

    CPA Western School of Business

    Pemco teamed up with Melcor and Wolski Design Group to build out an incredible new office space for the CPA group. The project incorporated many unique features such as Dirtt Walls, a feature “number wall”, beautiful staff room, high-end furniture systems, and interesting colors and flooring options. Pemco completed the school’s previous location 10 years ago, and had the opportunity to work together again upon relocating their offices after the lease expired.

    The Local Cannabist

    Pemco completed the landlords work, and complete tenant improvement of a new retail Cannabis location in West Edmonton. The finishes are high end, and the look and feel are a completely one-off custom Design. The project was a construction management contract with the Owners. All AGLC requirements and specifications were met and exceeded in terms of security and vault construction. Pemco Construction wishes to thank and acknowledge Blue Graphite Interior Design Inc. as the project Designer, Sara Jewell for the fabulous Photography and Ryan McCourt for logo and in store signeage/artwork design and creation.

    Sobeys and Safeway Liquor Stores, Mahogany and Shaughnessy, Calgary, Alberta

    Under a Construction Management contract, Pemco completed two Sobeys/Safeway Liquor Stores in Calgary Alberta including brand new retail space within existing vacant commercial buildings. Pemco constructed all the shelving and fixturing, installed graphics and wall coverings, and completed a full interior buildout. The stores include a large retail area, staff room, washrooms, customer service area, secure room, and loading area. A large size cooler box with sliding doors gives the facility flexibility to control the temperature of their cold beverages. The stores are inviting and boast many options for patrons.

    Tim Hortons Windermere

    In conjunction with JLL, Pemco constructed a brand new Tim Hortons interior in Windermere. This location boasted new finishes and was completed on a tight 7 week timeline. We coordinated with all equipment installations, millwork, and furniture deliveries throughout our comprehensive architectural, mechanical, and electrical scopes of work.

    Alpine Summit Seniors Lodge Commercial Kitchen

    Pemco joined with the Evergreen Foundation and Colliers Project Leaders in this Design-Build project to complete a brand new commercial kitchen within the seniors lodge in beautiful Jasper, Alberta. The facility was built 10 years ago, and food services were provided by the hospital nearby; however, with this upgrade the facility can cook and provide meals and healthy alternatives in-house. The project included architectural, mechanical, and electrical scopes of work, including demolition of the existing staff room. Notable features included an increased exhaust shaft size through to the roof, new cooler and freezer boxes, and mechanical equipment on the outside of the building. Within this Design-Build project, Pemco assisted Blue Graphite Design in planning the finishes for the space and constructing the facility. We coordinated heavily with HESCO for the commercial kitchen equipment, fixturing, and stainless steel.

    The Local Spot Convenience Store

    Complete tenant buildout of a new, modern convenience store in Windermere Plaza including architectural, mechanical, and electrical work. Lines were run for different types of slurpee, ice cream, and vending machines. The project boasted unique bulkheads, ceiling features, and lighting in addition to a cooler box.

    Windermere Out of School Care

    Pemco joined with our four time returning Client to complete the second out of school care location in Windermere Plaza. This location is on the main floor of Building 2 and involved a complete buildout of a vacant commercial suite.

    Michael Cameron Arena

    Working with the City of Edmonton for a Rehabilitation of the existing arena, Pemco's work included installation of new bleachers, a rink board system, glass and netting, and dehumidification system. Additional upgrades throughout the building included new sidewalks, and concrete repairs on the exterior roof beams.

    Station Lands Boardwalk Reno

    Pemco was asked to repair an existing walkway between CN Tower and Epcor Tower downtown Edmonton. With the creation of a new boardwalk, new fence, gate and step and new stain finish through out Pemco achieved an nice cosmetic upgrade with a great safety factor.

    Hinton–Shopping Center Exterior Upgrade

    Hinton--Shopping Center complete exterior facade improvements including related flashings. Pemco removed all existing finishings and replaced with new backing, hardie board and flashing and all new canopies

    Wine and Beyond Outlets in Emerald Hills & Windermere

    Pemco completed a complete interior renovation of the Windermere & Emerald Hills Wine and Beyond Outlet Stores ; all work was phased and afterhours to ensure the stores could operate at all times. Work included all architectural, mechanical, and electrical upgrades with an approximate square footage at each location of 20,000 square feet. Entire flooring was replaced, millwork and growler bars were brand new, spraying of the ceilings and new lighting.

    Scotiabank in Oliver Square

    Brand new Scotiabank in Oliver Square, Edmonton within vacant commercial suite. They took over the old TD space, and the work involved all divisions of construction including piles and concrete work under the vault, high end finishes, and mechanical and electrical scopes. We also completed the traditional “Scotiabank Red Walls” on the exterior for the Landlord; Bentall Kennedy

    Dr Feng Chong

    Pemco teamed up with Wolski Design and Dr. Feng Chong to complete the brand new relocation for Dr. Chong to the Brewery District in Edmonton. His clinic boasts high end millwork finishes, and intricate designs to create a modern and comfortable space. Our scope included a complete tenant improvement with architectural, mechanical, and electrical works.

    Tim Hortons 66th St and 170th Ave Edmonton

    This Tim Hortons was a complete new interior renovation to new larger vacant commercial bay including architectural, mechanical and electrical scopes of work.

    NorQuest College Building C Exterior Upgrade

    Pemco was contracted by NorQuest College to enhance the exterior of one of their building locations in downtown, Edmonton. Work involved painting the exterior block walls, new red metal cladding features, exterior lights, and sealing and caulking around all windows

    Vernon Barford School Foods Lab

    Pemco was awarded the contract with Edmonton Public Schools to renovate an existing Foods Lab consisting of new millwork, finishes, plumbing, and mechanical work including range hoods and associated work.

    Bosco Foundation New Elevator Installation

    Pemco was contracted by Bosco Foundation to supply and install a new 4 storey elevator in an old historic building in Edmonton. The project involved working with Thyssen Krupp who supplied and installed the elevator components and lift system; Pemco completed the cutting of concrete slabs at each floor, structural steel framing, and drywall for the elevator shaft, cutting and installation of elevator pit with sump pump and concrete, a new elevator room, and mechanical and electrical room. The project required a power upgrade which included a new transformer for the elevator, as well as elevator lobbies at each floor, and handicapped accessibility to the rear entrance of the building c/w interior push buttons and operators for existing doors to ensure the building is code compliant and can host tenants with limited mobility.

    Skyview Power Center

    Pemco contracted with Triovest on this project, to demolish an old Sears location in Edmonton at 137 Avenue, and split the bay into two new bays. Pemco completed all demolition, architectural, mechanical, and electrical works. The project included large new demising walls, two new storefronts and large exterior canopies to match the building standard including framing, structural steel, and stucco; splitting of electrical and mechanical systems (electrical panels, sprinklers, alarms) and preparing the spaces for new tenants.

    Edmonton Valley Zoo Water Meter Building

    Pemco constructed a building to enclose a new valve train system which has been installed to upgrade the capability for the Zoo to fight fires. The work involved the civil works and structural slab, supply and installation of the enclosure, and electrical which was run a long distance underground to the camel barn.

    Gold Investment Management Ltd.

    This project involved a build out of a vacant space on the fifth floor or Edmonton's downtown Fox Tower to create a beautiful high end financial office environment. With polished concrete floors and stunning millwork, it is a lovely detailed workspace as the pictures show.

    City of Edmonton Animal Care and Control Centre

    Addition of a new garage and drive through service bay for the existing animal care and control center for City of Edmonton including civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, and electrical scopes of work.

    Epcor Switchyard Specialty Electric Vault Replacement

    Very specialized work to complete a specialty electric vault replacement in Epcor switchyard (confined space, safety program, concrete works)

    Winston’s Commerce Place

    Complete demolition of convenience store and renovation of the existing store for a more modern and sleek design. Project involved new store front with supports, flooring, ceilings, millwork for the point of sales area, storage, and slat walls, painting, lighting and Sprinkler/HVAC alterations. We were proud to be a part of this long standing store at Commerce Place.

    Manulife Place 13th Floor Landlords Work

    Pemco completed the entire renovations of the elevator lobbies and corridors to Manulife’s new design standards including entry ways, elevator shrouds, tile work, carpeting, wall vinyl, flat ceilings, and LED lighting. We also gutted an office space and “white boxed” it back to base building standards to prepare for showings and future tenants.

    Crawford Plains School – Edmonton Public Schools

    This project was to replace existing ceiling with new T-bar Ceiling grid and tiles in the schools hallways and main entrance. The work included lighting alterations and associated work with the ceilings and included after hours and weekend work.

    Sherwin Williams Mission Hill Plaza, St Albert

    Relocation of Sherwin Williams into a new vacant commercial bay including all architectural, mechanical, and electrical scopes of work; including new overhead door at the rear.

    Tim Horton’s Leduc

    Small addition to existing building, including tenant improvements for a new Tim Horton's. Project included all civil, structural, architectural , mechanical and electrical scopes.

    Tim Hortons, Griesbach 97 Street Edmonton

    Tim Horton' at Griesbach was a complete new interior renovation to new vacant commercial bay including architectural, mechanical and electrical scopes of work.

    M&M Food Market Oliver Square

    Demolition of existing M&M meat shop and complete overhaul to new M&M Food Market designed space. including architectural, mechanical, and electrical scopes.

    Yellowhead Casino Lounge Renovation Pearl Showroom

    A stunning renovation to an operational Casino, included major hoarding, demolition of existing lounge, and complete renovation of new Pearl Showroom with stage, back of house area, and open seating including booth seating. High end finishes and enclosure of lounge with glazing system. A modern and exciting venue to take in a show!

    Strathcona Registry

    New sleek and modern Registry Office in the Old Strathcona neighborhood in Edmonton, AB; constructed in an older commercial bay, project involved all architectural, mechanical, and electrical scopes to suit the new layout. We would like to thank Wolski Design Group and New Star Capital Inc. for the opportunity to work together!

    McConnell Pediatrics

    New Pediatric Clinic built within a vacant commercial space on the second floor. Pemco teamed up with Qualico Commercial and Dr. McConnell.

    M&M Windermere

    Brand new store into an existing base building completed in four weeks. Sawcutting for sanitary and electrical needed to be done. New millwork finishes, all new painting, new LVT flooring throughout, Install of Walk-In- Freezers and Hillphoenix stand up reach in freezers with associated plumbing, all new t-bar ceiling and ceiling tile with lights, install of signage, new washrooms with fixtures and washroom accessories, installation of new compressors onto roof with associated roofing

    Old Strathcona Performing Arts Community Building TI

    Interior renovation to the washrooms, bar area, and hosting area at the Old Strathcona Performing Arts Community building near Whyte Avenue.

    UAH – Emergency Department Renovations (UAH ED RTU & RAZ Renovations, Phase 1, Area 1J2)

    Major renovation of existing University of Alberta Hospital offices to accommodate new layouts and usage. Work involved major infection control and hoarding. Mechanical and Electrical work occurred in the interstitial space, and new drainage was cored into the large gym space below. Strict adherence to hospital protocols and procedures was vital to the successful completion of this project.

    Fire Station #1 and #23 Generator Replacements

    Fire Station #1 required the replacement of the old generator. Pemco completed the replacement on the 5th floor of the building and all associated work with the replacement. Attention to safety, hoisting and rigging, and electrical and mechanical scopes were vital to the project. The switch had to be made on a scheduled shutdown of the station which was coordinated with Pemco, subcontractors, the City of Edmonton, and Fire Rescue Services. Fire Station #23 also required a replacement with less challenging scenario.

    St. Arnaud Pinsent Steman (SPS) Accounting

    Pemco completed a full build out for SPS Accounting in a new commercial building. Along with Design Eye Ltd. we created a large functional workspace for SPS on two floors. Staircases were reworked to accommodate the new layout, and the main floor is used to meet with Clients and has many unique design features, while the second floor includes offices and workspaces for company staff. The space is both welcoming and aesthetically pleasing, it was a pleasure to work with the team, as well as Veritas Management.

    Sobey’s Liquor Store Stettler

    Interior build out of a new Sobeys Liquor Store in Stettler, Alberta in newly built vacant space. Scope included all architectural, mechanical, and electrical work, along with some concrete work.

    Scotiabank Whitecourt

    Working with Schlichter Architecture Inc. of Calgary, Pemco completed a complete interior refit of existing empty space for bank services, including architectural, mechanical and electrical scopes of work.

    Alberta Laser

    Interior build out to this high end dermatology Clinic on the third floor of a newly constructed commercial building including very detailed and involved high end finishing with surgery suites which required specialized mechanical systems, and specialized lighting.

    Canadian Diagnostic Centre – MIRA Health Centre

    Pemco completed this large interior renovation of an existing clinic at the Mira health Center in Edmonton. The space remained occupied and was completed in phases and involved after hours work. The site remained clean and was ready for patients each day. The existing clinic was overhauled and updated and included a reorganization of the space to meet the requirements of the clinic into the future. Lead lined walls, doors, and frames were required in areas dealing with X-rays and other equipment. All architectural, mechanical, and electrical scopes of work were included. An existing mezzanine was fire rated and made code compliant.

    Twin Brooks Medical Clinic – Dr. Anthony Salopek

    Pemco completed this large interior build out of Dr. Salopek’s brand new medical clinic in South Edmonton. The building was a new shell and Pemco completed the full architectural, mechanical, and electrical tenant improvement to suit the Doctors vision of a comfortable and welcoming clinic for all ages and stages of life.

    City of Edmonton Sign Museum

    Pemco was proud to be the contractor working for the City of Edmonton to complete its Neon Sign museum, the first museum of its kind in Canada. Love for neon signs is enjoying a resurgence in the city. The Neon Sign Museum is outdoors, free and open year round. Pemco completed all structural supports on the side of the building, and electrical work, as well as associated work on the building to accommodate the new structure. The neon signs themselves are supplied and installed by donors and collectors on an on-going basis and was not under our contract

    M&M Harvest Pointe

    Brand new store into an existing base building completed in four weeks. Sawcutting for sanitary and electrical needed to be done. New millwork finishes, all new painting, new LVT flooring throughout, Install of Walk-In- Freezers and Hillphoenix stand up reach in freezers with associated plumbing, all new t-bar ceiling and ceiling tile with lights, install of signage, new washrooms with fixtures and washroom accessories, installation of new compressors onto roof with associated roofing

    Sobeys Liquor Store Kingsway

    Construction of a new building and the entire interior fit up. The project included all site work, structural, architectural, mechanical, and electrical work associated with a new ground up project.

    Canada Diagnostic Centers

    Build out of completely new medical diagnostic center in a vacant commercial space in the Westgate Medical Center in Edmonton. This 7,000 sq ft space required x-ray examination rooms, patient waiting rooms, non x-ray examination rooms, reception area, and office space.

    Associated Foot Clinic

    Relocation and build out of new Foot Clinic in the Westgate Medical Center located near West Edmonton Mall. Detailed layout and high end finishes.

    Muttart Conservatory Lighting Upgrade

    Pemco Construction Ltd. teamed up with the City of Edmonton for a project that would change the Edmonton Skyline. This lighting upgrade saw all four pyramids of the Muttart Conservatory fitted with new LED light fixtures that can be programmed to illuminate the Pyramids. The Conservatory can be seen changing colors and adds a certain ambiance to the Edmonton River Valley.

    CIBC Wood Gundy17th & 18th Floors Manulife Place

    Large scale renovations in the prestigious Manulife Place building involving approximately 40,000 square feet of construction on two floors. Project involved demolition of existing spaces back to base building standards and constructing new very high end office spaces on the 17th and 18th floors including new reception areas, offices, boardrooms, kitchens, copy rooms, storage rooms.

    Lynwood Capital Care – Atrium Painting

    Repainting of four stories of railings, walls, light posts, and the q-deck within the atrium of the care center. Four stories of engineered scaffolding was erected throughout the atrium in order to reach all areas requiring paint. The scaffolding spanned across the entire underside of the metal deck so workers could easily and safely reach the q-deck to complete the work. As this is a healthcare facility and the population is at risk, infection control and air monitoring was extremely important.

    Windemere Mansions Medical Clinic/ Serene Radiance

    Complete renovation and interior upgrades to this joint medical clinic with very detailed and involved high end finishing including millwork, flooring, ceramics, solid surfaces, specialized hardware, and mechanical and electrical systems.

    ATB Sherwood Park Lakeland Ridge

    Extensive renovation and fit up to an existing bank and ATM’s. Work was done in phases and after hours to not impact on banks regular daily business. The interior was brought up to new standards of ATB’s design.

    Rally Subaru Dealership Renovation

    Complete interior and exterior overhaul of an older existing car dealership into a newer and more modern venue including a large store front and exterior paneling, outdoor signage, and complete interior renovations including a new showroom, waiting area, sales offices, washrooms, a second floor boardroom and lunch room, and a parts/service area.

    The Grocery People Exterior Upgrade

    Exterior refinishing of a large, old grocery warehouse along the high profile ‘Yellow Head Trail’ in Edmonton AB including new canopies above entrances, minor concrete work, new stucco and paint, new entrances, and repairs to existing features including soffit and overhang

    Hawrelak Park Amphitheater Addition

    Pemco Construction teamed up with the City of Edmonton and Chernenko Engineering to complete the Construction of the amphitheater stage shelter which would protect the stage from the elements.     KBR Industrial Canada Co.

    Complete overhaul and conversion of an existing 14,000 square foot warehouse into a usable space for about 400 employees with washrooms, lunch area, and office space including a complete 10,000 sq ft second floor mezzanine built out for new office space

    AHS Royal Alexandra Hospital – Practice Readiness Center

    Pemco in-filled an existing shelled space on Level B of the North Treatment Centre which now contains a labour and delivery simulation room, a control room, and equipment preparation room. This facility is used to train AHS staff and employees with modern equipment and a realistic simulation setting.

    AHS Kaye Clinic – Shared Rehab

    Interior build out of a new shared rehab space within the KAYE Edmonton Clinic at the University of Alberta. Pemco in-filled an existing vacant shelled space on the main floor of the Kaye Edmonton Clinic. This included building a variety of treatment rooms, consulting offices, a barrier-free washroom, a soiled utility room, and a clean storage room.

    Canadian Patient Services Institute

    Modern interior construction of a new commercial office space on the 14th floor of Oxford Tower in the heart of downtown.

    Dr. Gilbert Enenajor Medical Clinic

    Buildout of a new 1900 square foot medical clinic in Windermere Plaza including a reception and waiting area, exam rooms, offices, washrooms, and staff area with a kitchen. The clinic is warm and inviting for Patrons.

    Windermere Daycare

    Construction of a new daycare facility in newly constructed Windermere Plaza. Features dutch doors with transaction tops for safety, color coordinated rooms for easy wayfinding, children’s washrooms and plumbing fixtures, fun flooring finishes, kitchen area, and a positive environment for all ages.

    Leading Edge Physio

    Build an open concept physiotherapy clinic with treatment cubicles located around the perimeter and staff work station in the middle of the room. The clinic also has a reception and waiting area, staff kitchen, and private room for massage and other treatments. The clinic was built on the second floor within a new commercial development.

    Fire Station #18

    Major renovation and addition to Fire Station 18 near Victoria Trail in the East of the City which included an addition which now houses sleeping quarters for the fire fighters, a gym facility, and large concrete patio area with landscaping. The fire station was also renovated and includes new overhead doors, large front concrete apron w/ ramps, and many upgrades throughout.

    New architectural finishes all around to existing building, installation of kitchen equipments, supply and install walk-in coolers and freezer, supply and install mechanical equipments, plumbing and HVAC, and electrical associated in this work.

    City of Edmonton – LRT Control Center

    Complete demolition and reconstruction of a new LRT Control Centre in Churchill LRT station in Edmonton, Alberta. New office space built and large scale electrical and mechanical work including new communications, cooling lines, and major computing equipment and consoles.
