We are proud to announce the Josef Lapes Memorial Scholarship at NAIT!
Josef Lapes was born and educated in Czechoslovakia and emigrated to Canada in 1982; he graduated from the NAIT Carpentry program in the early 80’s. Josef Lapes and his business partner Milan Fischgrund established Pemco Construction Ltd. on February 1, 1990. Pemco Construction Ltd. has become a very successful organization in our community. Josef was well known in the industry for his dedication to every project, creating relationships, and exceeding expectations.
This scholarship is to honour his memory and support the dreams of another graduate going forward. The link to the scholarship follows..
